Privacy policy

Matsuri Map (matsurimap.com) is a free, non-commercial map of festivals, fireworks, cherry blossoms and autumn leaves in Japan, run by an individual. There are no ads, no analytics and no tracking cookies. This page explains what the site keeps about you and why.

Using the map

You can browse without an account.
To deliver the site and protect it from abuse, the server and Cloudflare (which carries the traffic) process your IP address, browser name and the pages you request. The server's access logs are overwritten automatically after a short time.
To pick a language for you, the server looks up your country from your IP address. The IP address is not stored.
Your language and light/dark choices are kept in your own browser (local storage).
Addresses that probe the site for security holes (for example requests for /.env or /wp-login.php) are kept with the requested path and browser name for 30 days, to block them.

Likes and dislikes

When you like or dislike an event, a cookie (mm_voter) with a random ID lets the site remember your choice for up to two years. It holds nothing else and is used for nothing else. Your IP address is not stored with it.

Accounts and comments

An account is needed only to comment. You sign in with Google; the site asks Google only for your account ID and email address.
We keep your Google account ID, your email address (never shown; used only to recognise your account and to help you recover it) and the nickname you choose.
A session cookie (mm_session) keeps you signed in for 30 days. The server stores a hash of it and the browser name it was created from.
Comments are public, shown with your nickname and the time you posted them.
With each comment we store the IP address and browser name it was sent from. They are kept for 6 months, only to deal with abuse and to answer legal requests, and are then deleted automatically.
You can delete your account at any time from the Account tab. This removes your ID, email address, nickname, sessions and comments.

Contact form

Messages sent through the contact form (your name if you give one, your email address, the message, and the IP address and browser name it was sent from) are stored and emailed to the site's operator, only to reply to you and to stop spam. They are deleted when no longer needed.

Services that receive data

Cloudflare: delivers the site and protects it (IP address, request details).
Google: sign-in, only if you choose to sign in.
Resend: delivers contact-form messages to the operator by email.
OpenFreeMap: your browser loads the map tiles directly from its servers, which see your IP address.
Buy Me a Coffee: handles donations, only if you choose to donate.

Some of these services are based outside Japan (for example in the United States). Nothing is sold or shared with anyone else, unless required by law.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the data the site holds about you, or ask any question about this policy, through the contact form. Data is handled in line with Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is posted on this page with a new date.

祭りマップ（matsurimap.com）は、日本各地の祭り・花火・桜・紅葉を地図で探せる、個人が運営する無料の非営利サイトです。広告、アクセス解析、トラッキング用のCookieはありません。このページでは、当サイトが保存する情報とその目的を説明します。

地図の利用

アカウントなしで閲覧できます。
サイトの配信と不正利用の防止のため、サーバーとCloudflare（通信を中継するサービス）が、IPアドレス、ブラウザの種類、閲覧したページを処理します。サーバーのアクセスログは短期間で自動的に上書きされます。
表示言語を自動で選ぶため、サーバーがIPアドレスから国を判定します。IPアドレスは保存しません。
表示言語と外観（ライト／ダーク）の設定は、お使いのブラウザ内（ローカルストレージ）に保存されます。
セキュリティ上の弱点を探るアクセス（/.env や /wp-login.php へのリクエストなど）は、ブロックのため、そのアドレスを要求されたパスとブラウザの種類とともに30日間保存します。

「いいね／よくないね」

イベントに「いいね／よくないね」をすると、選択を覚えておくため、ランダムなIDだけを含むCookie（mm_voter）を最長2年間保存します。他の用途には使いません。IPアドレスは記録しません。

アカウントとコメント

アカウントはコメントにのみ必要です。Google でログインし、Google から受け取るのはアカウントIDとメールアドレスだけです。
GoogleアカウントのID、メールアドレス（表示はせず、アカウントの識別と復旧にのみ使用）、決めたニックネームを保存します。
ログイン状態はCookie（mm_session）で30日間保持されます。サーバーにはそのハッシュ値と、ログインしたブラウザの種類を保存します。
コメントは、ニックネームと投稿日時とともに公開されます。
コメントごとに送信元のIPアドレスとブラウザの種類を保存します。不正利用への対応と法的な要請への対応のためだけに使い、6か月後に自動で削除します。
「アカウント」タブからいつでもアカウントを削除できます。ID、メールアドレス、ニックネーム、ログイン情報、コメントが削除されます。

お問い合わせフォーム

お問い合わせフォームで送信された内容（お名前（任意）、メールアドレス、メッセージ、送信元のIPアドレスとブラウザの種類）は保存され、運営者にメールで届きます。返信とスパム防止のためだけに使い、不要になった時点で削除します。

使用地圖

不需要帳號即可瀏覽。
為了提供網站並防止濫用，伺服器與 Cloudflare（轉送流量的服務）會處理你的 IP 位址、瀏覽器種類與瀏覽的頁面。伺服器的存取紀錄會在短時間後自動覆寫。
為了自動選擇語言，伺服器會依 IP 位址判斷你所在的國家，但不會保存 IP。
語言與外觀（淺色／深色）設定會保存在你的瀏覽器中（本機儲存空間）。
試探網站安全漏洞的存取（例如要求 /.env 或 /wp-login.php），其位址會連同要求的路徑與瀏覽器種類保存 30 天，用於封鎖。

讚／倒讚

對活動按「讚／倒讚」時，會保存一個只含隨機 ID 的 Cookie（mm_voter）來記住你的選擇，最長 2 年，不作其他用途，也不會記錄 IP 位址。

帳號與留言

只有留言時需要帳號。登入使用 Google，本站只向 Google 取得帳號 ID 與電子郵件。
我們會保存你的 Google 帳號 ID、電子郵件（不會公開，只用來辨識與復原帳號）以及你設定的暱稱。
登入狀態以 Cookie（mm_session）保留 30 天。伺服器只保存它的雜湊值與登入時的瀏覽器種類。
留言會連同暱稱與發表時間公開。
每則留言會保存發送時的 IP 位址與瀏覽器種類，僅用於處理濫用與回應法律要求，6 個月後自動刪除。
你可以隨時在「帳號」分頁刪除帳號，帳號 ID、電子郵件、暱稱、登入資訊與留言都會一併刪除。

聯絡表單

透過聯絡表單送出的內容（姓名（選填）、電子郵件、訊息，以及發送時的 IP 位址與瀏覽器種類）會被保存，並以電子郵件寄給站長，只用於回覆與防止垃圾訊息，不再需要時即刪除。

會收到資料的服務

Cloudflare：提供與保護網站（IP 位址、要求內容）
Google：登入（僅限你選擇登入時）
Resend：將聯絡表單的內容以電子郵件寄給站長
OpenFreeMap：瀏覽器會直接向其伺服器載入地圖圖磚，因此對方會看到你的 IP 位址

其中部分服務位於日本以外（例如美國）。除法律要求外，本站不會出售資料，也不會提供給上述以外的第三方。
